Presumptive- a medical condition or illness that the courts have determined is most commonly caused by a particular health hazard. Used with Agent Orange, Camp Lejeune drinking water and Gulf War.

Service connected- a medical issue/injury that the VA has assigned at least a 0% rating to. Also seen as SC
